중앙보훈병원의 확진자는 전날까지 누적 186명(부산시 집계기준. 퇴원 후 확진자 포함)으로 불었다. 이 중 병자는 91명, 업무자 32명, 보호자 26명, 간병인 29명, 가족 2명이다. 이 병원은 집단감염 발생 이후 병원 내 상시체류자 2천900명을 타겟으로 선제진단을 여섯 차례에 걸쳐 진행하고, 방역 강화 방법으로 보호자·간병인 주 3회 PCR 검사, 입원환자의 경우 입원 전과 입원 10일차에 PCR 검사 등을 마련했다.
