LeStallion notebooks for writing have a satisfying heft and quality, with pages that feel smooth under a pen. I've been using one for my daily journaling, and the paper handles ink well without bleeding, which is rare. The cover is sturdy enough to toss in a bag, and the binding lies flat when open. They're not flashy, but they get the job done nicely.
