dog registration papers 9

My dog registration papers are tucked into a plastic sleeve in my glove compartment, looking official with my terrier's microchip number and county license. I had to fill out the forms at the vet's office, listing his vaccine records and breed mix, which felt like a lot of bureaucracy for a pup who just wants to chase squirrels. But those papers are my proof he's legally mine, showing his name and my address in neat type, so I keep them safe under the seat.
